Post-Brexit, UK firms are non-EU. Does that change the partnership structure?
Not for us — we operate the same way regardless of partner location. For your UK clients shipping to France, Brexit changed everything: UK Ltd companies are now treated as non-EU producers for French EPR. They cannot use any "EU establishment" shortcut and must designate a France-established mandataire. Many UK firms discovered this in 2021-2022 when Amazon France started enforcing. The market is mature for you.
Our UK clients also need UK Packaging EPR (the Defra scheme rolling out from 2024). How does that interact with French EPR?
They are independent regimes. UK Packaging EPR (Defra, run via the Environment Agency) covers UK consumer packaging only; French AGEC covers French consumer packaging. UK packaging producers shipping to France need both — UK Defra registration AND French Citeo/Léko/Adelphe registration. We handle the French side; you presumably already handle the UK side or partner with a UK provider.
How does the British pound, euro and VAT mechanics work in invoicing?
We invoice you in euro (€490 + €249/month per stream wholesale, minus partner discount). UK VAT is irrelevant for B2B intra-supply between a French SAS and a UK Ltd — we apply reverse-charge or zero-rate as appropriate under EU/UK rules. You invoice your UK or US client in GBP / USD / EUR with your markup.
Can our UK clients shipping to France also need PPWR Article 45 coverage in other Member States?
Yes, if they ship packaging to other Member States. PPWR Article 45 is EU-wide from 12 August 2026 — UK Ltd shipping to FR, DE, IT, ES needs a representative in each. We are the France leg of a multi-Member-State delivery; we maintain a working partner list of trusted equivalent operators in other Member States.
