French EPR deadlines, 2026.

The compliance year for French EPR runs on overlapping schedules: one declaration cycle per eco-organism, the PPWR transition date, periodic marketplace audits, and rolling payment due dates. Declaration dates are set per eco-organism and are not all 28 February; each eco-organism republishes its calendar every year, so confirm the exact date on your producer portal. New streams differ: professional packaging (EPRO) has no 2025 declaration, and single-use wipes declare from 1 July 2026.

    Soren photovoltaic declaration, Q4 2025 window

    Soren (photovoltaic panels, WEEE category 7) declares in quarterly ten-day windows rather than on a single annual date. The Q4 2025 window runs 1 to 10 January 2026; the next windows open 1 to 10 April, July and October 2026.

    Refashion declaration opens (textile)

    Refashion (textile, footwear, household linen) opens its 2025 declaration on the member Extranet. The window runs to 28 February; the eco-contribution payment follows by 31 March.

    Aliapur declaration deadline (tyres)

    Tyre producers file their 2025 declaration on Aliabase by 31 January. Occasional importers declare per shipment. Confirm the exact date on the producer portal.

    Packaging, textile and battery declarations close

    Declaration deadline for Citeo and Adelphe (household packaging and graphic paper), Refashion (textile) and Batribox (portable batteries), all for 2025 volumes. This is the busiest cut-off of the year, but it is not universal: several streams close later.

    EcoDDS deadline; Valobat campaign opens

    EcoDDS (household chemicals) closes its 2025 declaration on 1 March, with an attestation of accuracy due by 30 June. Valobat opens its construction, furniture and sports/DIY declaration campaign, which runs to 31 May.

    Furniture and professional-furniture cluster

    Ecomaison (furniture, toys, DIY/garden) and Valdelia (professional furniture, construction category 2) close their 2025 declaration on 31 March. Refashion eco-contribution payment is due, and Léko issues its packaging invoices no later than this date.

    Citeo payment; ADEME SYDEREP filing anchor

    Citeo eco-contribution payment falls due. Separately, eco-organisms file their members' aggregated 2025 data into ADEME's national SYDEREP register around this date (arrêté of 12 December 2022); that regulatory filing is handled for you and is not your own declaration deadline. WEEE producers (Ecosystem, Ecologic) declare annually or by campaign, so confirm your date on the portal.

  8. PassedDeclaration

    Valobat declaration campaign closes

    Valobat closes its 2025 declaration campaign covering the construction (PMCB), furniture and sports/DIY streams.

  9. PassedDeclaration

    Single-use wipes declaration opens (TSUU)

    Citeo Soin & Hygiène opens the 2025 declaration for single-use wipes. Because the stream started on 1 July 2025, its first cycle is offset from the Q1 calendar. Mandatory even for small volumes.

  10. PassedRegulatory

    PPWR enters into force (Regulation EU 2025/40)

    The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) starts to apply across all 27 Member States. Direct effect means it overrides national implementation: no more transposition lag. Designation of EU authorized representatives by non-EU producers becomes an explicit EU obligation, not just a French one.

    Marketplace verification audit cycle

    Amazon France, ManoMano, Cdiscount, and other major platforms run their seasonal EPR verification batch. Suspensions for missing IDU spike in September and October. Apply ahead of this window.

  12. UpcomingDeclaration

    Calendar year close, 2026 volume tracking starts

    Producers should be tracking 2026 volumes throughout the year. The 2027 declaration cycle will cover all units placed on the French market between 1 Jan and 31 Dec 2026.
