Professional packaging (EPRO)
Required for packaging used in B2B shipments where the recipient is a French professional. The 1 July 2026 launch was postponed in late June 2026; a new start date (likely Oct 2026 or Jan 2027) is pending.
Three tiers, anchored on Citeo Pro's small-producer regime.
For small producers. Eligibility: < 10,000 UVC. Mono-filière only.
For mid-market producers. Full service, multi-stream discount applies. Up to 100,000 UVC/year before bumping to Volume.
For high-volume producers: > 100,000 UVC/year. Priority queue on declarations + audit support included.
3 éco-organismes agréés (Citeo Pro, Léko Pro, Twiice) ; ~80 € HT minimum 1ère année. Lancement du 1er juillet 2026 reporté sine die (26 juin 2026) ; nouvelle date attendue (1er oct. 2026 ou 1er janv. 2027). Eco-contributions are billed by the eco-organism directly (not by us) and scale with your declared tonnage or units. Our fee is the mandataire service only, no markup on the eco-contribution itself.
What pro packaging costs at the eco-organism in 2026.
These are the Citeo Pro / Léko Pro / Twiice eco-contributions (€/tonne by material), paid by the producer to the eco-organism, separate from our mandataire fee. Indicative highlights from the official 2026 barème.
Reusable packaging -50%, reused packaging exempt; recycled-plastic incorporation bonus from 2027.
Flat fee ~€95-100 excl. VAT under 2 tonnes. Governing text: accredited 3 June 2026 (launch postponed sine die). We file the declarations that determine this eco-contribution; it is billed to you directly by the eco-organism, with zero margin from us, and we help you optimise it.

How this stream works in France.
EPRO covers professional packaging: the boxes, pallets, films, drums and protective packaging used when shipping to French businesses rather than consumers. The dedicated REP stream was created by décret n° 2025-1081 of 17 November 2025 and its cahier des charges (arrêté of 2 December 2025); the legal framework is in force from 1 January 2026. Eco-contributions were scheduled to start on 1 July 2026, but on 26 June 2026 the government postponed the launch sine die; a new start date is expected, most likely 1 October 2026 or 1 January 2027. The former food-service (restauration) stream will be folded in on that new date. Three eco-organisms were accredited in early June 2026 and have published their barèmes: Citeo Pro, Léko Pro and Twiice (the only operator 100% dedicated to professional packaging). The barème is set per tonne by material plus a per-unit component differentiated across activity sectors, with eco-modulation (reuse is not charged, a recycled-plastic bonus applies from 2027). Many foreign sellers who supply B2B distributors in France are subject to this stream in addition to the household packaging stream.
