The French Extended Producer Responsibility system covers more streams than any other country in Europe (packaging, electronics, textile, furniture, batteries, toys, sports, DIY, garden, paper, construction, professional packaging). It has its own eco-organisms, its own Identifiant Unique Producteur, its own AGEC law, and its own enforcement rhythm. We chose to specialise in it.
The mandate, written down.
A French EPR authorized representative is the legal interface between a producer without a French establishment and the French eco-organisms. The role is anchored in Article 8a §5 of Directive 2008/98/EC, transposed into the French Environment Code (L. 541-10 and following). From 12 August 2026, Article 45 of the PPWR (Regulation (EU) 2025/40) makes the appointment mandatory for packaging across the EU.
We accept the mandate in writing, under French Civil Code articles 1984 et seq.. Since 10 July 2026, Article L. 541-10-9-1 of the Code de l’environnement (law n° 2026-602 of 8 July 2026) subrogates us into the EPR obligations covered by that mandate, for its scope and its duration. Producer status is not transferable and stays with you, as does the accuracy of the data you provide and any period before the mandate took effect. What we carry is the rest: registration with each eco-organism, IDU filing via ADEME SYDEREP, periodic declarations, checks on the eco-contributions the eco-organisms set on their published barèmes, traceability, and proof of compliance to marketplaces and customs.
We keep the contract simple, the price flat, and the scope written down. That is the entire offer.
France only
We are mandataire REP in France only. We sign the French mandate, file dossiers with French eco-organisms, obtain the IDU on SYDEREP, and file French annual declarations. We do not sign mandates, file dossiers, or handle declarations in any other Member State. For other EU Member States, a separate authorized representative established in each country is required; that is outside our scope and the producer arranges it separately.
A price fixed in writing
A public entry price (from €190/year excl. VAT per stream) and a fixed annual fee per stream, confirmed in a written quote within one business day. The fee follows each stream's declaration regime and your number of product references, not your sales volume. No per-tonne mark-ups, no opaque eco-organism rebates.
A mandate written for the 2026 regime
We do not pretend to be the producer. The mandate is written and revocable, and it states what the statutory subrogation of 10 July 2026 covers: scope, duration, and how the exposure is secured.
