Refashion authorized representative
for sellers without a French entity.
Refashion is the sole approved eco-organism for Textile, Household linen, and Footwear (TLC) in France, covering all apparel, home textiles, and shoes placed on the French market.
Refashion collects an eco-contribution per garment, per pair of shoes, per kilogram of household linen placed on the market. The funds finance second-hand sorting, fiber recycling, and consumer awareness campaigns. France was first in Europe to introduce textile EPR, in 2007.
Any company placing apparel, footwear, or household linen on the French market. Even a small Shopify brand shipping 100 t-shirts a year to French consumers must register, with no minimum threshold.
- A US streetwear brand on Shopify shipping to French consumers
- A Chinese fast-fashion seller listed on Amazon FR
- A UK luxury shoe brand with cross-border D2C orders into France
What we do for the Refashion stream specifically.
We act as your French Refashion representative, sign the adherence, declare your annual unit counts (the scheme is per unit, not per kg or tonne); the eco-contribution itself is set by the eco-organism on its published schedule, and we take no percentage on it. We handle the specific textile eco-modulation declarations (recycled content, durability claims).
