Cyclevia is the approved French eco-organism for lubricating and industrial oils (LUB). Its agrément follows the arrêté of 27 October 2021, and it manages the collection and regeneration of used oils across France.
Cyclevia organises the free collection of used oils from garages, industrial sites and collection points, then directs them to regeneration or energy recovery. Producers adhere, declare the volumes of lubricants they place on the French market, and pay an eco-contribution funding the collection and treatment scheme.
Any company placing lubricating or industrial oils on the French market, whether established in France, elsewhere in the EU, or outside the EU: engine oils, hydraulic fluids, greases and comparable products sold under your brand. The trigger is the first placement on the French market, not the seller location.

What we do for the Cyclevia stream specifically.
You remain the producer. Under the written mandate required by Article L. 541-10-9-1 of the French Environmental Code, we take charge of and answer for your registration, your identifier, your declarations, the exchanges with the eco-organisation and audits, and the archiving of your files. Your eco-contributions stay invoiced to you and paid by you directly to the eco-organisation. For lubricating oils, we prepare and file the Cyclevia declarations; the eco-contribution is set on its published schedule, and we take no percentage on it. We currently register clients with Citeo, Léko and Léko Pro, Ecosystem (electrical equipment, lamps, batteries), Twiice, Refashion, Ecomaison and Valobat. For the other approved eco-organisations, we confirm availability with your quote.

- Who has to join Cyclevia?
- Any producer placing products covered by Lubricating and industrial oils (LUB) on the French market, whatever the country it is established in, with no minimum volume. The producer is the first company placing the goods on that market: for a distance sale to a French consumer, that is the seller, not the carrier and not the marketplace.
- Can I join Cyclevia without a French company?
- Not directly. A producer with no establishment in France must appoint a representative established in France, compulsory since 10 July 2026 under Article L. 541-10-9-1 of the French Environmental Code. For Cyclevia, we confirm availability with your quote.
- What does Cyclevia membership cost?
- Two separate amounts. The membership fee runs from EUR 0 to 450 a year depending on the stream. The eco-contribution depends on what you place on the market and follows Cyclevia's published schedule. Your eco-contributions stay invoiced to you and paid by you directly to the eco-organisation. We take no percentage and no margin on either of them.
