Cyclevia is the approved French eco-organism for lubricating and industrial oils (LUB). Its agrément follows the arrêté of 27 October 2021, and it manages the collection and regeneration of used oils across France.
Cyclevia organises the free collection of used oils from garages, industrial sites and collection points, then directs them to regeneration or energy recovery. Producers adhere, declare the volumes of lubricants they place on the French market, and pay an eco-contribution funding the collection and treatment scheme.
Any company placing lubricating or industrial oils on the French market, whether established in France, elsewhere in the EU, or outside the EU: engine oils, hydraulic fluids, greases and comparable products sold under your brand. The trigger is the first placement on the French market, not the seller location.
We act as your French authorized representative under Article 8a §5 of Directive 2008/98/EC for the lubricants stream. We sign the Cyclevia adherence on your behalf, obtain your IDU through ADEME SYDEREP, file the declarations and pay the eco-contribution. You stay the producer; we handle the paperwork.
