Joining Léko Pro from abroad

Léko Pro is the professional-packaging offering of Léko, the producer-owned challenger to Citeo on household packaging. Accredited in June 2026, it is one of three eco-organisms for professional packaging (EPRO), alongside Citeo Pro and Twiice. The launch scheduled for 1 July 2026 was postponed on 26 June 2026; contributions and identifiers start on 1 January 2027.
Léko Pro collects the eco-contribution on professional packaging. The 2026 professional packaging scales were withdrawn when contributions moved to 2027. Citeo Pro and Léko Pro published their 2027 scales in October 2026 (both may still change; Twiice has not published yet).
Any producer placing professional packaging on the French market, that is, packaging of products used only by professionals. A package also sold to households stays household packaging, even when a business buys it. The choice between Citeo Pro, Léko Pro and Twiice is contractual, not legal.

You remain the producer. Under the written mandate required by Article L. 541-10-9-1 of the French Environmental Code, we take charge of and answer for your registration, your identifier, your declarations, the exchanges with the eco-organisation and audits, and the archiving of your files. Your eco-contributions stay invoiced to you and paid by you directly to the eco-organisation. If Léko Pro fits your catalogue best, we sign the Léko Pro membership in your name and file the professional packaging declarations; the eco-contribution is set on its published schedule, and we take no percentage on it. - Who has to join Léko Pro?
- Any producer placing products covered by Professional packaging (EPRO) on the French market, whatever the country it is established in, with no minimum volume. The producer is the first company placing the goods on that market: for a distance sale to a French consumer, that is the seller, not the carrier and not the marketplace.
- Can I join Léko Pro without a French company?
- Not directly. A producer with no establishment in France must appoint a representative established in France, compulsory since 10 July 2026 under Article L. 541-10-9-1 of the French Environmental Code. The representative signs the membership in the producer's name. Professional packaging (EPRO): registration is open now, eco-contributions from 1 January 2027.
- What does Léko Pro membership cost?
- Two separate amounts. The membership fee runs from EUR 0 to 450 a year depending on the stream. The eco-contribution depends on what you place on the market and follows Léko Pro's published schedule. Your eco-contributions stay invoiced to you and paid by you directly to the eco-organisation. We take no percentage and no margin on either of them.
- Is Léko Pro the only option?
- No. On Professional packaging (EPRO), Citeo Pro and Twiice are also state-accredited. Joining any one of them satisfies the obligation, and the choice belongs to the producer. They differ on their published schedule, their declaration format and their eco-modulations, not on the legal cover they provide.
