Joining Twiice from abroad
for sellers without a French entity.
Twiice is the only French eco-organism 100% dedicated to professional packaging, with a focus on plastics and reuse. Accredited in June 2026, it is one of three eco-organisms for professional packaging (EPRO), alongside Citeo Pro and Léko Pro. The launch scheduled for 1 July 2026 was postponed on 26 June 2026; contributions and identifiers start on 1 January 2027.
Twiice collects the eco-contribution on professional packaging. The 2026 professional packaging scales were withdrawn when contributions moved to 2027. Citeo Pro and Léko Pro published their 2027 scales in October 2026 (both may still change; Twiice has not published yet). Its pure-play professional packaging and reuse focus fits industrial shippers of transport packaging.
Any producer placing professional packaging on the French market, that is, packaging of products used only by professionals, such as pallets, big bags, shuttle crates, IBCs and films. A package also sold to households stays household packaging, even when a business buys it. The choice between Citeo Pro, Léko Pro and Twiice is contractual, not legal.

What we do for the Twiice stream specifically.
You remain the producer. Under the written mandate required by Article L. 541-10-9-1 of the French Environmental Code, we take charge of and answer for your registration, your identifier, your declarations, the exchanges with the eco-organisation and audits, and the archiving of your files. Your eco-contributions stay invoiced to you and paid by you directly to the eco-organisation. If Twiice suits your packaging mix best, we sign the Twiice membership in your name and file the professional packaging declarations; the eco-contribution is set on its published schedule, and we take no percentage on it. Frequently asked questions
- Who has to join Twiice?
- Any producer placing products covered by Professional packaging (EPRO) on the French market, whatever the country it is established in, with no minimum volume. The producer is the first company placing the goods on that market: for a distance sale to a French consumer, that is the seller, not the carrier and not the marketplace.
- Can I join Twiice without a French company?
- Not directly. A producer with no establishment in France must appoint a representative established in France, compulsory since 10 July 2026 under Article L. 541-10-9-1 of the French Environmental Code. The representative signs the membership in the producer's name. Professional packaging (EPRO): registration is open now, eco-contributions from 1 January 2027.
- What does Twiice membership cost?
- Two separate amounts. The membership fee runs from EUR 0 to 450 a year depending on the stream. The eco-contribution depends on what you place on the market and follows Twiice's published schedule. Your eco-contributions stay invoiced to you and paid by you directly to the eco-organisation. We take no percentage and no margin on either of them.
- Is Twiice the only option?
- No. On Professional packaging (EPRO), Citeo Pro and Léko Pro are also state-accredited. Joining any one of them satisfies the obligation, and the choice belongs to the producer. They differ on their published schedule, their declaration format and their eco-modulations, not on the legal cover they provide.
