Tyval is an approved French eco-organism for the tyre (PNEU) stream, one of the operators producers can choose to meet their end-of-life tyre obligations in France.
Tyval organises the collection and recovery of used tyres and directs them to reuse, recycling or energy recovery. Producers adhere, declare the tyres they place on the French market, and pay an eco-contribution funding the collection and treatment network.
Any company placing tyres on the French market, whether established in France, elsewhere in the EU, or outside the EU, whether the tyres are sold on their own or fitted to vehicles. The trigger is the first placement on the French market, not the seller location.
