No match means listing deactivation. The cadences and strictness vary; Cdiscount is the strictest (real-time at listing creation), Amazon France runs quarterly waves at scale, TikTok Shop is phasing in through 2026. How does each marketplace verify EPR?
All of them query SYDEREP for your IDU. They differ in when they check and how strictly they match your legal name, as the table shows.

How do I recover a suspended listing?
Whatever the platform, the recovery path is structurally the same:
- Read the rejection / suspension notice; note streams flagged and case ID.
- Engage a France-established representative; the mandate is signed electronically.
- We file the eco-organism memberships per flagged stream within two business days of receiving payment.
- The eco-organisation issues the IDU on its own timing: Citeo, about seven business days after the membership is validated. Léko, about five business days after the initial Léko invoice is paid; that invoice must be paid within five business days, otherwise the membership is cancelled. Ecosystem, the identifier is issued after the first declaration has been filed and paid. Refashion, after membership, the signed contract and the first declaration with its payment, then about ten business days. Professional packaging, registration open now, eco-contributions from 1 January 2027.

Which mistakes slow down a recovery?
Four come back again and again: panicking, pasting an IDU in the wrong stream row, missing the professional packaging stream and letting a declaration lapse.
Frequently asked questions
How long does Amazon France take to lift a suspension once I have an IDU?
Amazon reactivates listings once its own check finds the IDU on SYDEREP and you have entered it in Seller Central → Settings → Compliance → EPR France. The timing is Amazon's, not ours, so we do not promise a fixed delay. If listings remain inactive after a few business days, open a case referencing the IDU and the eco-organism that issued it.
Does Cdiscount accept the same IDU Amazon does?
Yes. The IDU is the public producer ID on SYDEREP, it is platform-agnostic. The differences are how each platform queries it (Cdiscount is stricter on name matching) and how each platform’s seller console accepts the upload. One IDU per stream serves every French marketplace.
I sell on Shopify D2C, not on Amazon. Do I still need to register?
Yes. The legal obligation is triggered by placing products on the French market, not by selling through a verifying platform. Shopify does not check EPR; ADEME does. Non-registered Shopify sellers face the same Article L. 541-9-5 fines: up to €30,000, and up to €7,500 per unit or tonne for a company. Marketplace verification just adds an additional enforcement channel.
TikTok Shop France does not seem to enforce EPR. Should I bother?
Yes. TikTok Shop FR is phasing verification in through 2026, the regime tightens quarterly. We see early-stage sellers benefit from the grace period today; sellers who scale into 2026 hit verification at a much worse moment (high-volume listings, established case file, no IDU). Register now.
My seller name on Amazon does not exactly match my SYDEREP entry. Will it fail?
Often, yes. Amazon’s match is character-for-character on legal name. Align the SYDEREP record (legal name as on your business registration certificate) with the Seller Central "Display Business Name" before upload. If they were filed with slight differences, the representative can ask the eco-organisation to correct the SYDEREP record.
Can I run multiple marketplaces with the same IDU?
Yes, provided the same legal entity sells on each. One IDU per stream per producer entity covers every French marketplace. Separate Amazon and Cdiscount entities for the same brand would need separate IDUs.
