The scheme funds the prevention, collection and treatment of single-use wipes and sanitary textiles, which are a significant source of litter and sewer-network clogging. Producers adhere, declare the tonnage and units placed on the French market, and pay an eco-contribution modulated to encourage more sustainable and less polluting products.

Any company placing single-use wipes or sanitary textiles on the French market, whether established in France, elsewhere in the EU, or outside the EU. This covers cosmetic and cleaning wipes, baby wipes and comparable disposables sold under your brand. The trigger is the first placement on the French market, not the seller location.

We act as your French authorized representative under Article 8a §5 of Directive 2008/98/EC for the wipes (TSUU) stream. We sign the adherence on your behalf, obtain your IDU through ADEME SYDEREP, file the declarations; the eco-contribution itself is set by the eco-organism on its published schedule, and we take no percentage on it. Producer status stays with you; the obligations covered by the mandate are carried by us.
