Recycler Mon Véhicule (eco-organism for end-of-life vehicles)
Recycler Mon Véhicule is an approved French eco-organism for end-of-life vehicles (véhicules hors d’usage, VHU), organising the take-back and treatment of retired cars and light vehicles through approved centres.
The scheme ensures end-of-life vehicles are handled by authorised dismantlers and shredders, with depollution, reuse of parts and material recycling. Producers adhere, declare the vehicles they place on the French market, and pay an eco-contribution funding the take-back network.
Any company placing motor vehicles in scope of the VHU stream on the French market, whether established in France, elsewhere in the EU, or outside the EU: car makers, importers and brand owners of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The trigger is the first placement on the French market, not the seller location.
We act as your French authorized representative under Article 8a §5 of Directive 2008/98/EC for the vehicles (VHU) stream. We sign the Recycler Mon Véhicule adherence on your behalf, obtain your IDU through ADEME SYDEREP, file the declarations and pay the eco-contribution. You stay the producer; we handle the paperwork.
